I'm a Man and I Got Milk
There are plenty of things that can
go wrong in our life. Some of these things are an
inconvenience and may cause some embarrassment but
others are of serious concern. If you find that you are
having difficulty in overcoming a particular problem
then it may be necessary to get to the root of the
problem in order to get rid of the symptoms. A classic
example of this would be if you had a large set of man
boobs.
Most men don't like to even consider the thought that it
may happen to them but it could happen to anyone, at any
time. There are so many different things that could
cause the body to begin to produce estrogen or reduce
the production of testosterone. Either one of these
could cause you to grow breasts as if you were a woman.
Even worse, these breast may actually become functional
and you could begin lactating. The fact of the matter
is, men and women really have the same plumbing in that
general area and it is not out of the question for it to
become activated on a man if he were to have an
overabundance of estrogen in his body.
If you are experiencing a problem with man boobs in this
way, you should seek some attention from your doctor in
order to find out what the underlying cause is. It may
be as simple as switching medicines, as some medicines
will cause your body to begin to produce estrogen in
abundance. Unfortunately, it may also be something as
serious as tumors on your testicles or on your thyroid
or pituitary gland. Most of these conditions are
treatable by use of some simple medications so there is
not too much cause for alarm.
If you are a teenage boy that is going through puberty
you may also have a medical condition that is known as
gynecomastia. This is a problem in which the boy's body
will begin to produce an abundance of estrogen, the
female hormone, and reduce its supply of testosterone.
The effect would be that you would grow breasts as if
you were a woman and no amount of diet and exercise will
make them go away. Think of it as if you were a girl
developing breast, they just grow and there's not much
you can do about it. The good news about this condition
is that it tends to go away within a year or two and the
man boobs will disappear along with it.
So if you are a man that is suffering from one of these
problems make sure that you find out what it is that is
causing the problem in the first place. It might be that
you just need to make an adjustment in your lifestyle or
medication that will solve the problem fairly quickly.
One thing's for sure, when you get rid of them you'll
never want to have them back again.
